Babygirl

I draw my biggest inspiration from looking at editorials. When I was a pr intern at Tommy Hilfiger, one of my duties was to tag all the magazines that the brand was mentioned in. This meant I had to spend a lot of time looking through these magazine, which made me really appreciate the editorial spreads. I really love how these spreads help give the clothing a story and make them come alive. This one gives a modern homage to one of the greatest, baby girl, Aaliyah. Shopping Guide: The Perfect Ankle Boot

One of the staples you need in your fall/winter wardrobe is an ankle boot. It took me a couple of months to find the perfect one for me because there's so many different styles and variations of it. Finding the perfect ankle boots starts off with figuring out what kind of use do you want from them, I personally wanted something comfy that I can wear for a school day in the city and still be able to dress up later on the night. The next step is figuring the style of the boot you want; stiletto heel, suede, lace-up, leather, fringe, wedge heel, etc. When picking out any boot you always keep in mind what you have in your wardrobe and how it fits with your style.

Jeremy Scott S/S 2013

One of the most controversial debuts for the spring was Jeremy Scott's Arab inspired collection. It was one that was filled with burkas, croc-printed leather, scarf prints, bomber jackets, and gold accents. Jeremy Scott is definetly one of those designers that isn't for everyone but I personally love the creativity and personality he brings to his clothing. I'm also loving the headwear, which debuts his most recent collaboration with New Era for fitteds. Obsessed!!
